We will be decorating a Christmas Tree, collecting canned goods, teaming up with the local community to help local children and their families have a merrier Christmas.
The State House Room 106 Christmas Tree will be lit at 6pm just outside Room 106 on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 82 Smith Street, Providence, RI 02903.
Those who would like to contribute can bring canned food and toys, a variety of canned, packaged and nonperishable foods — no perishables, new toys for kids and other (new) non
perishable items.
We want the community to rally around our efforts, the food collected will help provide meals to people in the community who need food assistance through local programs.
